Hepatitis B and C Ongoing Screening

We are currently offering FREE hepatitis c screenings at the St. Luke's Center for Liver Disease.

We are located at 6620 Main Street, Suite 1505

If you have any of the following risk factors or came in contact with any hepatitis C-infected blood or body fluids, please call Wayne Gosbee at 832-355-5119 to schedule a FREE Hepatitis antibody test.

  • Intravenous drug use (past or present - even one-time use)

  • Blood transfusions (before July 1992), operations and infected blood products

  • Tattooing or body piercing

  • Occupational, eg. needlestick and dental treatment

  • Needles, dialysis equipement and other medical equipment

  • Transmission from mother to child during birth

  • Shared personal hygiene items (such as razors, toothbrushes, nail files)

  • Intramucosally (that is, through the tissues lining body openings ie. inside nose) when taking cocaine and other drugs

  • Sexual activity that involves contact with infected blood or body fluids

  • Acupuncture

Hepatitis C Treatment Training

A no cost program for all patients and family members

When: Classes held twice each month at 6:30 - 8:00PM
Where: Baylor Clinic Building - 11th Floor Conference Room

All Classes are FREE & Parking Vouchers provided

Classes include:
Injection training, Information on Support Groups, What to expect from treatment, Importance of lab compliance, Side-Effects management, and basic information on hepatitis C

Certificate of Completion and Class Topics Summary for all participants who complete the class.
